Jure Vuga

Jure Vuga (1983) is an art historian, poet, essayist, and writer of children’s stories. He holds a PhD in Art History. His work as an art historian and poet has been published in books and literary magazines, and his essay writing has received critical recognition. In recent years, Vuga has turned increasingly to writing for children, publishing stories in Slovenian children’s magazines. A Pinch of Salt and a Great Deal of Sea is his first book for children. Drawing on his background in art and literature, he brings a rich imagination and a distinctive sensitivity to his stories.
