Dr. Vojko Kavčič obtained his undergraduate degree in psychology at University of Ljubljana, continuing his studies and employment in the United States. He finished his doctoral degree in experimental psychology at University of North Texas. He is currently assistant research professor in the Institute of Gerontology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His research is focused on the neuronal and cognitive mechanisms involved in perception of motion and navigation in older, healthy individuals and patients with Alzheimer's disease.
