Daddy, Do You Hear Me?

A sensitive, warm and playful story about the relationship between father and son.

A heartfelt picture book about a boy who longs to share his day with his father. Three things happened to Timmy at kindergarten that he wants to tell his daddy about - he found a marble in the sandpit, he learned how to whistle, and how to use a peashooter. But Daddy, busy as daddies are, seems not to have time to listen.  When the boy finally gives up, the silence speaks louder than words. A gentle yet powerful reminder of the importance of time spent together.

This is not the first time Žiga X Gombač writes about the relationship between father and son, and once again he has managed to create a sensitive and original story about wanting to share a secret, the lack of time parents have, and enjoying shared moments, conversation and play. Igor Šinkovec has created playful and humorous illustrations that build on the text.
