Ejala's Buckle

In the first book Orpheus’s Lyre, set in Ptuj, the dark forces are defeated, or at least kept at bay, with Eva’s help. But the ending hints that the battle is far from over. And indeed, it isn’t. In the second book, Perun’s Axe, they strike again, choosing the Karst region as the main stage for their assault. It’s where Eva happens to be attending an ethnology camp. As if it weren’t enough that the high schooler and karate practitioner is dealing with tensions with Lucija, her former best friend, she must now face the villains in a tense showdown at camp. She’s in for a string of surprises and soon realizes she’s misjudged who’s who. In part three, Ejala’s Buckle, the dark forces hit harder than ever. This time, the action is spread between Ptuj, Ljubljana, and Zanzibar. Eva has her hands full, not only piecing together connections between strange visions, objects, and events and battling a ruthless enemy, but also dealing with the tense atmosphere in her classroom.
