- How Much Further?
What happens when totally unprepared non-walkers set off on a challenging hike around an island? Exciting. Painful. Challenging. Tense.
Class hotshot Iza, picks on her schoolmate Lucija, who comes from an entirely different family background. The conflict grows into a fight which calls for action. In order to put her in her place, Iza’s parents decide to send their spoilt daughter on a hike across the Croatian island of Krk. Also participating in the hike are her classmate Ognjen, an enthusiastic mountaineer, and Lucija. Unlike Iza, Lucija enjoys herself on the hike, gets on well with the company and gains self-confidence, but Iza too does not remain as she was before the hiking challenge...
What initially seems like a problem novel about peer abuse, set in a school and family environment, soon moves to the natural settings of the island, where a group of youths and their three guides set off on a long trail. How will it affect the members of the team and the relationships between them? To what extent can only such a challenging experience change an individual?
