I Cried To ... and Fro

What do a woman who can’t stop buying shoes, a lonely retired man, and a mother waiting for news about her son fighting in the war have in common? Seemingly very little—but in fact, almost everything that defi nes the modern human experience. They also share an author, Tadeja Krečič Scholten, who weaves surprisingly vivid stories about love, loneliness, past mistakes, ambitions, and hope from hidden cracks of everyday chores and conversations. I Cried To... and Fro is written with an abundance of empathy, sophisticated humour, and a keen ear for interpersonal relationships.
