A very successful pharmaceutical company offers its dedicated owners, the Markovič family, a life of luxury. With the sudden death of the father and husband, the family’s world is turned upside down overnight. Mother Jana and son Nejc are left with nothing. As if struggling to survive was not enough, their lives are also shaken by dark secrets from the past. The distance between mother and son, which until then was filled by comfort and mundane routine, is cruelly widening. They soon realise that they have become collateral damage of a corporate feud between companies and lobbies. How far do their webs of influence extend and how powerful these truly are?
