Mouse Party

Mici and Rita are two mice who get invited to a mouse party, also attended by a cat. But don’t worry, Albert is a friendly cat who throws mice up in the air and catches them with his soft paws. Albert’s twin brother Edgar, however, is far from a friendly feline. And it’s Edgar who suddenly appears at the door. How will the mice get out of this predicament? Will the mouse party turn into a cat party where the mice will become nothing more than tasty snacks?

The mice Rita and Mici got their first role in the picture book Don’t Forget the Title, which was also presented in the White Ravens list by the International Youth Library in Munich. The mice protagonists from the first picture book wanted to appear in a sequel – this time they demanded a story with a head and a tail to it. Their wish was granted. Mouse Party features a lot of mice and a couple of cats, so there are indeed plenty of heads and tails.
