In the first book, The Lyre of Orpheus, Evi helps defeat, or at least stop, the dark forces, but the open ending suggests that the fight will continue. And it does. As if it is not enough that the high school student and karate enthusiast has problems with Lucija, her former best friend, she has to fight against villains in a tense battle at the campsite, during which she experiences a lot of surprising twists and realizes that she has misjudged who is who.
