The Lakeview Crime

In the second book of the series, the three central characters, Kos, Simon, and Edi, take a holiday near Lake Bohinj. They are surrounded by a group of sports enthusiasts training for a difficult triathlon: the legendary local kayak coach, her French husband, their rebellious teenage daughter, a trio of surprisingly immature French kayakers, a Slovene alpinist, a flirty local girl, her unpleasant stalker … It is slowly revealed that most of the characters share a long history and that events from two decades ago might still be influencing their lives, especially when things escalate so far that the police have to step in.
