Ida Mlakar Črnič

Ida Mlakar is a fairy tale and young adult writer. She works at Pionirska – the Centre for Youth Literature and Librarianship at the Ljubljana City Library. She runs bibliopedagogical activities for children at the Oton Župančič Library, leading story hours, introducing the library to young visitors from kindergartens and schools, conducting fairy tale tours of Ljubljana etc. She is a co-editor of the annual Manual for reading quality youth literature. She also writes academic papers on young adult literature and bibliopedagogy.
