Shyball from Fearzville

Shyball is a timid bear who likes his peace. One day, his peace is disturbed by the rabbit Bouncy, who invites himself over out of the blue. Shyball doesn’t know what to do. Bouncy even breaks his favorite vase. Shyball then gets a little encouragement and turns into a real bear, which sends the rabbit packing. 

Picture book is a fantastic combination of sensitivity for the heroes while adding some mischievousness and linguistic cleverness to the mix. The story about a bear, who is an ordinary rabbit, and a rabbit, who strikes fear into the bear’s heart, was wonderfully illustrated by Anka Kočevar.
