Ivo Svetina

Ivo Svetina (1948) is a poet, playwright, essayist, translator. He has published more than 20 poetry collections, written several plays, fairy tales, essays on poetry, and theater or drama. He has received a large number of awards for his work, including the Veronika Award for the best poetry collection of the year and the Slavko Grum Award for the best dramatic text. Malabar is his first prose work.
