The covid-19 epidemic, which has in 2020 swept over the world and has limited people within four walls of homes, puts to the test a bread seller Jasmina, a single woman with a chronically bad conscience, because she does not have enough time for her six-year-old son; pensioners Martin and Anita, who cling to new things and people to fill the gaps in their lives as best as they know; the car mechanic Božo, a conscious patriot and rigid nationalist with a soft heart that lovingly cares for his puppy and demented mother; and a wealthy family of four (teacher Tanja, dentist Žak, son Nejc, daughter Lina), whose mediocrity during the epidemic strikes the day in all its diversity.
Each in their way, they struggle through boring days, their fears, and pursuits of themselves, until an unpredictable whirlwind of events shakes them so violently that they are forced to find themselves. In the second part of the novel, all the stories are unexpectedly intertwined. And complicated.
