Dog Summer

Imagine the following scene: It’s already quite crowded on the beach and scorching hot. There are people paddleboarding, swimming, cooling themselves off with ice-cream, rowing boats and sailing in yachts. 

But, wait... there’s something wrong with this book! Why is there a frog and a dolphin in the text, while the illustration clearly depicts a pig? Why is the dog swimming in the text and sailing on a surfboard in picture? Do the illustrations match the text at all? Was there some sort of miscommunication between the author and the illustrator?
